murus installed a font today?

Post by josephbee » Thu Sep 22, 2016 2:31 am

i launched murus from the menu applet today and it popped up a window about installing a font. i'm not sure what else it did. i don't like that at all. what is the deal with the font? i believe it's called NanumScript.

That's because you are using and old version of Murus which was created for OS X 10.9, 10.10 and 10.11.
Murus used this font for the yellow notes. Unfortunately nanum script font has been removed from macOS 10.12 Sierra, so and old Murus will ask you to install it. Nothing strange, everything is automatically managed by the operating system, not by Murus.
However we changed that font in latest Murus release, 1.4.3.
MacOS 10.12 Sierra users should update Murus to 1.4.3 as soon as possible.
Once done, you can use macOS Font Book to remove the font.
