Adaptive Firewall?

Post by davecotter » Fri Feb 03, 2017 5:15 am

How does one turn on the macOS built-in Adaptive Firewall? (the one that locks someone out after several failed attempts) ?

AND can i whitelist my LAN and a couple other IP addresses so they get to try forever without getting locked out?

Murus has nothing to do with the macOS built-in adaptive firewall.
Murus is only a front end for the built-in pf packet filter.
Murus adaptivity is achieved using pf specific rules and options, not using macOS adaptive firewall.
For sure, using Murus Pro, you can protect some services with adaptive firewall while whitelisting one or more IP or networks.
