Settings locations for Murus to achieve a reset

Post by CatsLife » Fri Apr 28, 2017 6:05 pm

I don't know if it's related to having opened IceFloor once or due to a recent (day ago) system drive upgrade & using Time Machine for backup. But all my p2p apps are firewalled. I've flushed Murus Lite & turned off the MacOSX firewall but still firewalled. All these apps are port forwarded within the router & even tried port triggering to no avail. Somehow the system settings for firewalling are corrupt. I need to start afresh. But I'm guessing the answer to this is to delete all the Murus affected files? To do this I need to know all the locations and names of files to deal with in the system.

Nevermind. I discovered after upgrading the system drive to an SSD with Time Machine I ended up with a dupe computer ID for the router. It was just a matter of switching to the other ID & rebooting the router. Sounds simple but not easy solution to find.

However I'm not sure that 'totally' removes the relevance for my question. :D
