Vallum 2.3.2 is now available as a free update.
- Bugs fixes
- Improved compatibility with macOS 10.13 High Sierra
A note about macOS High Sierra:
macOS 10.13 High Sierra introduces a new security feature: Secure Kernel Extension Loading.
The operating system now requires the user to explicitly allow the execution of third party kernel extensions, like Vallum.
During the Vallum installation process you may see an error message, macOS is blocking Vallum Kernel Extension.
You need to manually allow Vallum execution in order to successfully complete Vallum installation.
To do so open macOS System Preferences and browse to Security & Privacy -> General, then click the button to allow software by Davide Feroldi.
This procedure is required only once.
If you installed Vallum on a previous macOS version then upgraded to macOS 10.13 then you will not see this error message as Vallum kernel extension is already authorized by the system.
