NetFlows is a simple utility used to display real-time connections by apps and processes running on macOS.
Main NetFlows window displays all important information about both inbound and outbound flows including the responsible app/process, protocol, IP address, hostname and quantity of download/upload data.
Flows list can be filtered or searched in order to be able to monitor only specific processes or flows types.
NetFlows is a free app and can be downloaded and used for both personal and commercial purposes for free.
Additionally, a “Firewall Option” can be added to NetFlows.
This add-on allows you to create inbound and/or outbound firewall rules to block whole apps or only specific flows, for example you can create a rule to block an app from connecting to a specific IP address or hostname. Rules are persistent and are enforced every time you run NetFlows.
